Paying Fees and Lunch Balances:

Summary: Revtrak, Minooka 201’s credit card processor, can talk directly to PowerSchool. This way when you make a deposit on your child’s lunch balance, the balance will update their account automatically instead of having to wait 24-48 hours. You need a working PowerSchool parent account for Minooka 201 to pay online.

Steps:

1. Log into Powerschool by going to https://min201.powerschool.com/public
   If you do not know your login credentials, please email us at pshelp@min201.org.
2. On the left, click on Balances. (If you are on your phone's web browser, you'll likely need to expand the left grey sidebar.)
   This will show your lunch transactions, current lunch balance and registration fees owed.
3. Click on Make a Payment, which will take you to Revtrak to complete the transaction. If you’re prompted, you can use your existing RevTrak username and password (or create a new one).

4. Once the page loads, add fees to your cart and complete the transaction. You can make partial payments on registration fees.
5. Refresh your browser in PowerSchool and the new funds will show up on your child’s page in PowerSchool.

Check your child's daily lunch transactions:

Summary:  While you can see your child's current lunch balance in the smartphone application, sometimes it might be helpful to running daily log for the school year

Steps:

1. Log into Powerschool by going to https://min201.powerschool.com/public

2. On the left, click on Balance. (If you are using your phone's web browser, you'll likely need to expand out the left grey sidebar.)

3. Scroll down to the Lunch Balance section.  This will show you the student's daily lunch transactions for the entire school year.  The oldest transactions are the top while the most recent transactions are at the bottom of the list.  

Technical Notes: You cannot see the official report card on the smartphone mobile app.

Kindergarten - 8th Grade:

Here are the steps to view your child's report card online: 

1. Log into Powerschool by going to https://min201.powerschool.com/public
2. Click on Student Reports on the left sidebar.  If you are using your phone's web browser, you'll likely need to expand the left grey sidebar.

Minooka Primary Center Report Card

Technical note: You cannot see the report card on the smartphone mobile app.

Here are the steps to view your child's report card online: 

1. Log into Powerschool by going to https://min201.powerschool.com/public
2. If you have multiple students attached to your account, switch to your preschooler in the blue bar.
3. If you weren't dropped at the Grades and Attendance screen, click on Grades and Attendance from the left hand side.  If you are using your phone's web browser, you'll likely need to expand the left grey sidebar.
4. Click on the link that reads "MPC Report Card".   This link will only show for those students currently at Minooka Primary Center.

If you are stuck on a previous year or grade level, sign out of PowerSchool and sign back in.

To help clarify this issue, the tech team recommends updating your bookmark for PowerSchool to https://min201.powerschool.com/public.
When a bookmark is made while signed into the application, it also imprints specific time and date data to the URL, causing the issue of logging into PowerSchool defaulted to another year. To update a previous bookmark in Chrome, right click on the bookmark link in the bookmark bar, click on Edit, and change the URL field to https://min201.powerschool.com/public.

The athletic forms (or other signups that aren't the yearly re-registration forms) live in forms on the parent portal.  They may be available in the parent app under More > Forms.

Phone (Web browser based) Instructions

1. Log into PowerSchool at https://min201.powerschool.com/public
2. Find Forms in the list on the left hand side of the page. You may need to expand the menu on the left with the small arrow.
3. Click on the appropriate form title and fill out the simple form.

Computer Instructions

1. Log into PowerSchool at https://min201.powerschool.com/public
2. Click on Forms located in list on the left hand side of the page.

3. Click on the appropriate form title and fill it out

4. Don't forget to submit when completed.

If you have another student you wish to send to school to fill out a form for: 

1. After completing the form for the first student.
2. At the top left, look for your other student(s) names, and click on it.
    This will switch you to your other student’s information.
3. Click on “Forms” on the left hand side menu.

4. Click on the form located in the list on the page.

5. Complete the simple form.
6. Repeat as necessary for multiple students.

Check your child's transportation information:

1. Log into https://min201.powerschool.com/public
2. Click on "Student Profile" at the bottom left.  If using your phone's web browser, you may need to expand the grey left sidebar,

3. Scroll down for "Transportation Information".

I have multiple children within the district, how can I switch from one sudent to another?

For example, I have 2 students within the district attached to my parent account.   From the web browser view (either on the computer or using your phone's web browser), the lighter blue name is the student you're currently on.  If I wanted to switch to my other student, in the blue bar, I'd click on their name and the page will do a  minor refresh. 

1. At the top left, look for your other student(s) names, and click on it.
    This will switch you to your other student’s information.

Sadly, we cannot combine or merge accounts across the different districts..  Minooka #201 (PK-8th grade district) and Minooka #111 (grades 9-12) are 2 different districts even though we're both in Minooka and both use Powerschool.  While you could use the same username and password combination at both districts, you are accessing each district individually with either the distinct link or the the smart phones' unique district code.

One workaround some parents use is to log out and switch accounts, though it’s not ideal. Another option is to use the app for one school and access the other district’s portal through a browser.
