Side- Baked Beans and Heartzel Pretzels 

All lunches include a fruit and veggie bar, a choice of milk and a side.

WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH FACT

  • Althea Gibson broke tennis’ color barrier when she became the first black player to compete at the U.S. Open in 1950.  She became the first black woman at Wimbledon the following year.  She was voted Female Athlete of the Year by the AP in 1957.

Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month

Good Morning!  This is the Good Vibes Tribe. Did you know that March is National Developmental Disability Awareness Month?

• Do you know that 1 in 4 adults in the United States experience some type of disability?

• Anyone can experience a disability at some point in their life.

  • Individuals of all races, genders, sexual orientations, nationalities, religions, incomes, and social classes experience disabilities.

  • A disability is a visible or invisible condition that substantially limits one or more major life activities such as eating, sleeping, speaking, hearing, walking, seeing, breathing, caring for one’s self, or working.

This is Erin R. from the Good Vibes Tribes to talk about a famous person living with a disability.

  • Billie Elish is a famous singer and songwriter who has Tourette Syndrome.  Tourette Syndrome is a disability that causes you to make unwanted sounds or movements.  There is no cure for Tourette Syndrome yet.  Billie was diagnosed with Tourettes at age 11.

earn prizes.

Bus Safety Posters are due Monday, April 7th.

FRIENDLY REMINDERS

  • Make sure you are wearing your ID all day everyday.  Please put it on now if you currently are not wearing it.

  • Please bring your own water bottle if you get thirsty throughout the day. Water bottles must seal and do not contain straws.
